1. Scope and operator

These terms apply to hollsteen.com and all pages under it ("Hollsteen"). Operator: Willi Wiedergold, Astrid-Lindgren-Straße 10, 53844 Troisdorf, Germany · Email: hello@hollsteen.com. By using Hollsteen you accept these terms.

2. The service

Hollsteen is a free website with company profiles of about 100 listed technology companies. No account and no login are required. There is no right to use it, no guaranteed availability and no claim to any particular feature. We may change, restrict or discontinue the service or parts of it at any time.

3. Data "as filed with the SEC"; no guarantee of accuracy

• Figures and quoted sentences come from public filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), mainly 10-K, 10-Q, 20-F, 13F, 13D/G and Form 4, retrieved via EDGAR. They are shown as filed with the SEC, and each value links to its source filing.
• Values marked "derived" or "calculated" are computed by us from reported values. Sentences marked "verbatim · selection" are quoted unchanged from a filing; the selection is ours and is made by rules.
• The data can be incomplete, outdated or wrong, for example because of errors in the filings, in their machine-readable (XBRL) tagging, or in our processing. We give no guarantee that any value is accurate, complete or current. The original filing is authoritative.

4. Voices: third-party opinions

The "Voices" layer, where shown, summarizes publicly stated views of third parties (e.g. investors) and links to the original. Voices are third-party opinions, not SEC data and not our opinion. They may be outdated, wrong or incomplete; the speaker's views or positions may have changed. Voices are never used for any figure, thesis or ranking on Hollsteen. Naming a person is not a recommendation by them or by us.

5. Takedown and corrections

If you believe content on Hollsteen is wrong or infringes your rights (e.g. a Voices entry about you), write to hello@hollsteen.com with the page URL and the reason. We will answer within 5 working days and correct or remove the content where justified.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

We compile the data with care. Beyond that, Hollsteen is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty that it is accurate, complete, current, fit for a particular purpose, or free of errors or interruptions. This applies to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

Hollsteen is provided free of charge (gift-like use; cf. § 521 BGB). We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation (one whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely), and then only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded, in particular for investment losses or lost profits from decisions based on content on Hollsteen. These limits also apply to our representatives and assistants.

8. Acceptable use

• You may use Hollsteen for your own research, work and teaching, and quote individual figures with "Source: Hollsteen" and, where practical, the SEC filing.
• Automated access only within fair use: follow robots.txt, keep the request rate low, and do not put an unreasonable load on the service.
• Do not systematically download (scrape) large parts of the data, and do not resell or redistribute it in bulk or as your own dataset or service.
• Do not get around technical limits, and do not disrupt or attack the service. We may block access that breaks these rules.

9. Rights

SEC filings are public. The selection, structure and processing of the data, and the design, texts, charts and software of Hollsteen, are protected, including as a database (§§ 87a ff. UrhG). Any use beyond section 8 needs our written consent.

10. Links

Hollsteen links to external sites, mainly SEC EDGAR. Their operators are responsible for their content.

11. Changes

We may change these terms for the future. The version published here at the time of use applies.

12. Governing law and final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers this choice applies only insofar as it does not take away protection under the mandatory law of the country where they habitually reside. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is Siegburg. If any provision is invalid, the rest remain valid.
